My feelings on creating a blog. Also what I did over break that made me a better teacher.

I believe that a blog is a great way to get ones ideas out there for others to hear and think about.  It is a great way to meet people with the same interests as the person writing the blog.  This summer I was in a community orchestra.  It has nothing to do with physical education but it does have to do with teaching.  I had to teach the younger cello players how to read some of the music. I also showed them how to perform the pieces that they were having a hard time with.  The best part about doing that was seeing their faces when they realized that they could play the music and knowing that I was a part of that.  I believe that when you are a teacher that your skills and knowledge can be used in many fields.
